If you visit my studio website as well as MySpace (MySpace/Hotsole) and Facebook group http://www.facebook.com/s.php?q=Campaign+For+Real+Audio&init=q I think you’ll get a good idea of my background and credentials.

I would be very interested in contributing as an editor coming from the place of describing music production “the old school way” with a balance that includes new technologies but stresses the production of “real” not fabricated and over commercialized mainstream.

    Regards,

Kevin Williams per Hot Sole Music Inc.

    Hi Kevin

Thanks a lot for your message.

Welcome on board the Campaign! Although this site isn’t officially “launching” until later this year, sounds like you have some good ideas to explore and an impressive CV too. We’ll be in touch later this week to discuss plans.

    Best regards

    Paul @ Radiocafe

Well thank you so much for asking me to join the campaign. Robbie Vincent was my Guru & from that route my complete love of good music has branched. Music was always a part of my parents life too, so I guess my senses were ready for a musical journey.
It was the very best news to hear of Robbie’s show is back on the air & wow hey.
Terms like rare groove only came about because of people missing the first wave Robbie created. His passion brought together a whole community of artists/ D J’s who were inspired & propelled into to the world of dance & creating a family of friends who’s purpose was to bring the music to the people, & how privileged I am to of been at the early gigs of Light of the world Lonnie Liston smith the Crusaders & many many great artists.
To this day my passion is as strong & even deeper due to Talvin Singh, who introduced me to a deeper level of music, I feel we are all part of.
The core of Robbie Vincents scene was & has always been inclusion, there was never snobbery/ racism. Robbie for me should get the O B E & Peace prize for his work in bringing peoples of the World together. It is worth saying he did more for it by just getting people together to dance & experience live music in a very happy upbeat way.
Well there is so much music that has been forgotten & I know Robbie would agree.
It always concerns me when young D J ‘S rewrite the history of music, even Snow boy’s accounts is only one small fragment of a huge history that so many people will agree didn’t come from the term rare groove.
That was born in the 80’s. A great many people who were part of the early Robbie Vincent days Are in their late 50’s / 40’s. To be there is to know the true age.
Well love respect happiness to all & please give respects for Froggy Trevor Shakes for opening many doors & introducing the Uk to Jeffrey Daniels dancing at his club. To all who have followed in the footsteps of the trailblazers & are keeping the spirit alive. It is best I stop & just simply say thank you & lets keep the music full of peace.
Keep up the good work all.
    Best regards
    Jen
