> TELL US ABOUT YOUR CAR
Alfa Romeo GTV is my choice of automotive transportation at the moment.
I love the fact its not as common as other sports cars in its field & Pininfarina styling just fabulous!

> WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CAR?
A true classic - Austin Mini - How I ever fitted in it at 6 ft 2 I do not know?

> DO YOU HAVE A FAVOURITE PLACE TO DRIVE?
Race track baby! (Donington ideally). Maybe a country road on a glorious summer's day with some great tunes a pumpin'.

> WHAT IS THE BEST CAR YOU HAVE OWNED OR BEEN IN?
Well that depends on what your looking at really - its a bit boring but I've had two BMW's & they just work perfectly. Everything is so solid, so you know from the doors clunking shut right through to the way the whole car drive feels. I think the Porsche stole my heart the most, though. I have to say I am really enjoying this little Alfa, more than I thought I would. The styling is sublime inside & out & the engine sounds amazing when it is in its range! There are a few character floors, though: the windows never shut properly; the idle tick-over is random at best. Tell you what though - the handling on this front wheel drive car is outstanding, very little understeer or body roll.

> WHAT WAS YOUR BEST EVER EXPERIENCE IN A CAR?
Ha Ha - I'm not saying a word here!

> AS A CHILD, WHAT CAR DID YOUR PARENTS OWN?
My dad had an E Type, but I can't remember if I was born at the time. He also used to race Minis fairly successfully when I was a nipper - I guess that's why my first car was one. My parents had a few BMW's & various other things, I think the real low point was the Nissan Bluebird though!

> DO YOU PREFER CLASSIC CARS TO NEW CARS?
I have a place in my heart for both. I love the comfort & air conditioned world of a modern motor, but windy down windows have there place too.

A favourite classic of mine would be the Porsche 911, I used to own a 1969 edition restored to near perfect condition. I used her everyday for over a year & had virtually no problems, that engine is bulletproof! I'm currently looking at a Ferrari 328 for next summer - bit scary though - you know what they say: 'German sports cars are fast & furious & Italian sports cars are fast & FRAGILE!'.

  Alfa GTV

> WHAT IS YOUR ULTIMATE CAR?
Got to be an Aston Martin DB9 - come on, James Bond drives it (mind, didn't he also drive a Citroen 2CV in one movie?). Think I'd need to earn a little extra cash for that one!

> WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE MUSIC TO PLAY IN THE CAR?
I love way too much music to narrow it down, but I've selected some favourites for Radiocafé (See below)
