ABOUT MR CHASE

The very early days
At the very young age of 4, Mr Chase received his first Fisher Price Turntable, it all started
from there! His passion for dance music began through his teens, listening to Hardcore
and Jungle. During this time he studied and played classical and spanish guitar, was a
member of 3 different Rock/Indie bands as rhythm and lead guitarist, keyboard player
and then percussionist. In 1999 he joined Burnt Ash as the drummer. Burnt Ash was the
biggest and most successful band of all 3. They wrote their own material, and played at
numerous venues in and around the London circuit. Mr Chase was introduced to US
and UK Garage music by his main inspiration; DJ Silkworm. Listening to DJs/artists
such as the famous DJ EZ, TufJam, Wideboys, US Alliance, Todd Edwards, MJ Cole,
Sunship, Zed Bias, Wookie, Brasstooth, Grant Nelson, Booker T, to name a few.

DJ days
Over the past eight years Mr Chase has played with top DJs and producers in the
industry, and has graced many parties, clubs and events. These include, Garage
Nation, Nookie, Pioneers Of The Old Skool, Indulgence, Sophisticated - just to
name a few. Mr Chase sets out every time to provide a performance that is certain
to be remembered!

Radio days
Mr Chase took a step further into his DJ'ing career at the age of 16, playing house parties,
then later progressed onto hosting his own radio show on a London station; 2G FM. In 2002,
Mr Chase landed a show on a top London radio station: Flashback/9nine3. Then moved onto
another radio station; Select UK. From there on he used his radio shows as key promotion
to gain more and more bookings at top events and build on an ever growing mailing list and
listener base. In 2005, Mr Chase chose to depart from Burnt Ash to exceed more in his career
and concentrate more on his DJ'ing.

House influences
Over the past 4/5 years he has grown more into House music, and hopes to progress further
in the House scene. Current influences include Dennis Ferrer, Kerri Chandler, LeisureGroove,
Julien Jabre, DJ Gregory, Mr V, Copyright, This Is Rhythm, Reel People, Phil Asher, Karizma,
Roy Davis Jr, Franck Roger.

A Vision
He now holds a weekly show on leading London's dance music station; Vision 88.4FM, every
Sunday 11AM - 1PM [GMT], Playing the best in deep, soulful, funky house - and at times
garage. Mr Chase is determined to build on his DJ'ing career by taking himself further
both nationally and internationally.

He hopes to also move into dance music production.
